The largest organic garden in Denmark
The Organic Garden offers 27 acres of gardens, nature walks and picnic spots in the countryside just outside the town of Odder. Gravel paths lead the visitor through 14 theme gardens and past beehives, a chicken run, donkeys and ponies, goats and rabbits you can pet, and free-range pigs enjoying life.
Children can enjoy a playground with straw bales for climbing and jumping, a giant sandpit, a playhouse and willow huts and tunnels. On the central green, children and grownups can try old-time games and activities. The kids won’t want to leave!
Cakes and sandwiches, ice cream, sweets, and hot and cold drinks are available in the shop – all organic. We also have a wide assortment of organic seeds and plants, specialised garden tools, books and pamphlets, honey and gift items. The Garden and the shop are open 9 months of the year.
There are themed guided walks every Sunday afternoon in season and the Garden is host to courses and events throughout the year. Guided tours can be arranged.
The Organic Garden is situated right outside Odder about 20 minutes‚ drive from Aarhus.
